Mr Naqui was honoured to have been chosen by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand to establish national ‘Masterclass courses in Hand Surgery’. The first of these annual courses was held successfully on the 11th June. The course saw hand surgeons from across Europe attend Manchester to perfect their operating techniques. The theme on this occasion was the ‘PIPJ’ – one of the most important joints of the hand. Surgery for arthritis, fracture, dislocation and ligament injury weredemonstrated.
