I have been Mr Naqui’s patient for some time now. He has diagnosed and treated issues with both of my hands and has done so completely successfully. He is clear and succinct in his explanations and an extremely effective practitioner. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone requiring consultation and/or treatment in the specialisms he works in.

Dr Naqui was so supportive in the medical treatment of our son. Both him and Donna were so professional and understanding of the situation. Dr Naqui’s treatment of our son led to a full recovery from his injury allowing him to progress his career. I highly recommend Dr Naqui.

What a journey, I have been on coping with Symptoms of Osteoarthritis. I know I’ve had the debilitating disease since the 80s. It was recently, that new painful symptoms started to occur. I was in so much pain that I decided I needed help quickly as NHS waiting lists were too long. It took me a while to find the right person and finally I found him! I have been a day case twice in the last six months, having been treated under local anaesthetic. I am more than happy with the service that I have received and he has alleviated my pain through his treatment. Mr. Naqui has been very professional, courteous and meticulous during my procedures. l felt at ease with his knowledge of my symptoms and he was very informative during the procedures, he also informed me about the aftercare I would receive. Mr. Naqui is a very busy consultant and sees so many patients every day. He must find it a challenge to build up a relationship with each patient. He has a lovely smile, which shines through! I would also like to mention Donna (Mr. Naqui private secretary) She is a breath of fresh air. I have enjoyed speaking to her.

Mr Naqui was extremely professional and supportive when it came to my injury. He really helped reassure me and my family that everything was okay, and it’s clear that he really is a fantastic surgeon. I couldn’t recommend him more!

I had a left wrist arthroscopy with Dr Naqui, it was my first surgery and I was very nervous but between Dr Naqui and his lovely secretary Donna I was put at ease. Anytime I asked for information I recieved it, all questions answered and everything explained to me very well. I can assure you I kept them on their toes with my questions and they were great. My appointments with Dr Naqui involved me flying to Manchester and to be honest it was worth it. He explained the risks, the procedures, was open and honest about the possibility of a second surgery, which I do need and recovery. They also connect with my hand therapist in Northern Ireland so that everyone’s on the same page during my recovery. He took his time explaining everything in terms I understood. I trusted him fully before the surgery and I’ll trust him fully for the second. That says alot because trust is everything when someone is operating on you, especially your hands. I play guitar as a hobby so my hands are what keep me sane! I can’t recommend Dr Naqui and his team enough. If you’re reading this trying to decide on a surgeon I would strongly urge you to consider them. I’m not someone who can usually afford to go private, it was alot of money to me and I’m paying it off but it was money well spent.

Mr. Naqui operated on my left hand to correct Dupuytren’s Contracture. I had previously had my right hand done by a different surgeon a few years ago. Mr. Naqui explained the process and risks clearly in terms of the operation itself and the post operative requirements. Administratively the process was made very simple by his secretary Donna. The work Mr. Naqui did was excellent. Following the operation I immediately had good flexibility and little to no pain. The scar is very neat, healed well and I had only a little itchiness. I was able to go without a dressing after a couple of weeks. My hand has returned to good flexibility after 6 weeks and I can lay my hand flat. I am happy to recommend Mr. Naqui and will be having my other hand done in a couple of months.

During the course of my treatment and consultation, Mr Naqui was attentive and showed genuine concern for my welfare. The information that he shared with me before and after the operation gave me confidence that the outcome would be of real benefit to me. I didn’t worry about the procedure as it was explained well and the outcome was very clear. I did encounter as small problem with the hospital I used which Mr Naqui addressed expediently and professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending this consultant.

A great experience from start to finish and my carpal tunnel symptoms have disappeared. I’m so glad i got the release surgery done and I am sleeping the best I have in two years. I felt very well cared for under Dr Naqui and the recovery has been fast. I’d highly recommend him and the team.

I instantly felt confident in Mr. Naqui as soon as I met him. He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He operated on my hand to correct Dupuytren’s Contracture in my left hand and, having had my right hand done by a different surgeon I had an idea what to expect. The work Mr.Naqui did was markedly better. The scar is very neat (I make keloid scars so neatness is hard to achieve). My hand has returned to full flexibility but don’t expect this to happen automatically just because Mr. Naqui performed the operation; you have to do your bit and it requires dedicated exercise by the patient for several months. Overall I am very happy with the outcome and I am happy to recommend Mr. Naqui. I also need to mention Donna, his secretary, who has been friendly and efficient throughout the process.

Following several years of discomfort and pain in both hands & thumbs, I finally decided to see a specialist. All went smoothly and received good care

This is my second review for Mr Naqui as I am now some months after my second thumb joint arthroplasty. Mr Naqui has undertaken many of these procedures so for this reason combined with my experience of his professional skills and excellent patient manner I returned for the second surgery. Being the proud owner of bilateral thumb joint replacements has for me been transformational. I had lost a lot of strength when using my hands which has now returned. Mr Naquis specialist hand physiotherapist Esther measured my thumb strength pre and post operatively and I have three times the strength post-surgery. In addition to an increase of strength is the aesthetic look as prior to surgery the base of my thumbs were disfigured but are now no longer misshapen and scarring from the surgery is minimal. Thank you, Mr Naqui, Donna your medical secretary and Esther the hand physiotherapist for Mr Naqui for making such a positive experience once again.

I have had dupuytrons contracture for 35 yrs and mr naqui ismy fourth consultant over this time frame. He is by far the most engaging and friendly consultant, pre and post-operation. Since the surgery i can do many things i could not before. For example; using scissors, pliers and finger picking my guitar. And i can hold a beer glass!
